Cool Rochester Websites give you the ability to edit all of your pages. Once you log in and pick the page to edit, your page loads with our powerful editor. Our editor looks like a typical word processor and acts as you would expect.
You will be able to add the page title, headline, meta description and meta keywords in separate boxes assigned to them.
The Editing Toolbar
You use the editor above to make changes to the appearance of the content, add images, add links, copy/paste, add bulleted or numbered lists and so on. For example:
Along with paragraph and character formatting, the toolbar provides buttons to work with html links and images. Inside the
Insert/Edit Link or
Insert/Edit Image tools is the File Manager where you can upload and manage your files.
Features List (bulleted)
- Multiple colors
- Multiple sizes
Shopping List (numbered)

- bread
Just let you mouse hover over any icon and you will see its function in a popup (ex. hover over the yellow box with the mountain and it says "Insert/Edit Image").
If you want to add an image, click on the part of the page where you want to add it, then click on that yellow box and you will come to the "Image Properties" window where you will click "Browse Server." It will take you to a window that contains other images you have uploaded and have available for use. Or you can upload a new image in that same window at the lower left under "File Upload."
If you want to edit any image, just double click on an image in the "File Manager" (the window you are taken to when you click "Browse Server"). You will be taken back to the "Image Properties" window where you are able to size, add a border, set alignment and add padding to any image.
You can add tables:
| Product Model | Size | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Model 200001 | 2x4 | $10 |
| Model 200002 | 4x6 | $15 |
| Model 200003 | 6x8 | $20 |
| Model 200004 | 8x10 | $25 |
You can edit a table by right clicking on it. You see a popup menu of editing options.
You can add an email link.
You can insert special characters like ® or © or ™, etc. through the "Insert Special Character" button. This converts the character to proper html coding.
Speaking of coding...if you prefer to work in html code mode, just click on the first icon "Source." This icon toggles between WYSIWYG mode (What You See Is What You Get) and source code mode (HTML) editing.
